Can I Hire Someone To Write My College Essay

Can I Hire Someone To Write My College Essay When possible, select a topic that engages you and is one you are interested in addressing. It is important that your voice comes through and that the reader feels he or she has had an opportunity to experience a more personal facet of your character and your unique perspective. Avoid cliches at all cost and never write what you think someone wants to hear. A great college essay is one in which the student’s voice and though process comes through clearly. It should be consistent with the rest of the application and showcase an aspect of the student not highlighted in the rest of the application. In high school, she earned 99th percentile ACT scores as well as 99th percentile scores on SAT subject tests. She also took nine AP classes, earning a perfect score of 5 on seven AP tests. Graduating from high school and thinking about heading off to college can be a scary time. It’s easy to convince yourself that your classmates have all the answers and you’re the only one without a plan. The story that your friends perk up to listen to- that’s the stuff that makes for great app essays. More than anything, officers want to get to know you through your essay. And yet another student staged a sit-in in an admissions office lobby, refusing to leave until she was able to speak to a few admissions people. Needless to say, this tactic proved as ineffective as the pies and the blow-up person attached to balloons. A good college essay is one that stays with the reader after he or she finishes reading it, maybe even thinking about it later that day, or the next day. The foremost focus should be on your composite score. If you apply to one of the 20 or so schools that do require the essay, you should adequately prepare for it strive for the best score possible. That said, it is imperative that for each school on your college list, look up the school-specific SAT essay policy. You can always call the school if the information is not readily available online. Aside from mistakes on the essays, college admissions counselors discuss in “The Daily Beast” how one student sent pies, claiming she wasn’t a good athlete but she was a good baker. The admissions counselors thought the pies were quite tasty but this did not lead to an acceptance. Another student sent a life-size blowup of herself attached to balloons. It was supposed to fly…but alas the balloons didn’t work. It is also well written and grammatically correct. We haven’t all pulled babies from burning buildings or sailed around the world in a catamaran. Tell a story from your own life that shows something unique about you. Even students with the most detailed life plans will change course along the way. The SAT essay is generally considered one of the least important aspects of a student’s college application, so an average essay score isn’t necessarily an automatic indication that you need to retake the test. Some schools don’t require the essay, but they may recommend taking it. Other schools may not even look at your essay score in the admissions process. Once you do your research, you will have a clearer idea on how to approach taking the essay. If the schools on your list want nothing to do with the SAT essay, feel free not to take it! However, if the schools on your list recommend (but don’t require) taking the essay, you should do so, aiming to score as high as possible. When you are finished with the essay, read it out loud and carefully listen to the content, grammar, and pay attention to spelling or word glitches. A great college essay is an essay that is interesting, pithy and well written. You want both to keep the reader’s attention and to make the reader want you to be a member of the next freshman class at the reader’s college. This is your chance to make your application stand out and your one opportunity to have a real voice appear in the file. Tell the reader something about yourself that might not be included in the rest of the application.
